DIY: Pick Your Way Out Of A Crisis
Beat the World Economic Crisis by turning your credit card debt into sweet, soothing music. Cut those cards and play the blues. It’s cathartic and down right good for the soul.
And if you’re careful with your cutting, you can have your name embosed on your pick. A sure-fire way not to mix it up with the others at band practice.
Repertoire: for starters, Robert Johnson, “Last Fair Deal Gone Down” or Muddy Waters, “Last Time I Fool Around With You” . For those in the stock market you can’t go past Skip James, “Hardtime Killing Floor Blues”, it’s a must.
For the guitar pick fusspot, thicknesses: your general banking and credit cards are quite consistently about 0.8mm/ 0.0315″ thick (+/-0.05mm) so in the medium to heavy range. Library cards and laminates are about 0.5mm and below, though that’s getting pretty thin. But remember, the library and it’s free services are your friend now.
